Lufthansa: When future meets mores
On February, the 7th, Lufthansa unveiled its brand-new identity to the general public. Numerous changings are processed by the German airline, but the most visible is certainly the new livery dressed by Lufthansa’s aircrafts.
To present its new image, the Frankfurt-based airline decided to send its two repainted aircraft through Germany and Europe on February, the 8th. The first aircraft was a Boeing 747-8, registered as D-ABYA which made a German serving the main German airports from Frankfurt to Frankfurt via Dusseldorf, Hambourg, Berlin and Munchen.
The second repainted aircraft is an Airbus A321, D-AISP, has been deployed in Europe, through three Lufthansa’s main destinations from Munchen: Milano, Paris and obviously Frankfurt.
Airliners Explorers was in Paris to present this all-new identity.
#ExploreTheNew, through this message, the German airline invites you to travel on its wings.
The all-new design is presenting a white on blue logo, replacing the famous yellow that was present on the Lufthansa’s logo for about 100 years. Indeed the yellow is not disappearing, the latter will be used for the boarding passes and also the check-in desks.
On the French ground, today’s crew decided to celebrate this Parisian visit with… a French touch.
For Carsten Spohr, Lufthansa’s CEO, his airline “has evolved over the years to become a modern company that is a real success today. Changes that will now be visible to the public, through our new design”
